01

Acceptance of These Terms

By using dunebuggydubai.net, requesting a quotation, making a payment or participating in an activity, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

The person making a group booking is responsible for sharing these terms with every driver, passenger and participant included in the booking.

If you do not accept these terms, you should not complete a booking or participate in an activity.

02

Website, Brand and Licensed Operator

“Dune Buggy Dubai,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to the website and booking brand operating through dunebuggydubai.net.

Where a booking is fulfilled by a named licensed activity, transport or tourism partner, that operator’s identity may also appear on the quotation, payment request, voucher or booking confirmation.

03

Services Covered

These terms may apply to:

  • Polaris RZR and Polaris RS1 dune-buggy tours;
  • Can-Am Maverick X3 dune-buggy tours;
  • quad-bike and ATV experiences;
  • KTM and other dirt-bike experiences;
  • sandboarding and scenic desert stops;
  • hotel pickup and drop-off;
  • private and group desert activities; and
  • other services identified in the booking confirmation.

The exact vehicle, duration, inclusions, meeting location, pickup arrangement and total price are those stated in your confirmed booking.

04

Quotations and Booking Confirmation

Website prices and WhatsApp quotations are subject to vehicle, guide and departure-time availability. Sending an enquiry does not reserve a vehicle.

A booking becomes confirmed only when:

  1. we confirm the vehicle, date, time and price;
  2. the required deposit or full payment is received;
  3. payment is successfully processed; and
  4. a booking confirmation or voucher is issued.

Guests must review the confirmation and promptly report any incorrect date, vehicle, duration, passenger count, transfer arrangement or contact information.

You must not assume that a vehicle remains available while awaiting payment. Availability can change until payment and confirmation are completed.

05

Prices, Deposits and Payment

Prices are normally quoted in United Arab Emirates dirhams (AED). Buggy prices are normally charged per private vehicle, while some transfers, safaris or group activities may be priced per person or per booking.

Before paying, confirm whether the quotation is:

  • per vehicle;
  • per passenger;
  • per group;
  • inclusive or exclusive of transfers; and
  • inclusive of all requested additions.

We may require a deposit or full payment to reserve a vehicle. The required amount will be communicated before payment. Any remaining balance must be paid using the method and by the deadline stated in the booking confirmation.

Payments may be accepted by secure payment link, bank transfer, card, cash on arrival or another approved method. A booking is not secured by an uncompleted, declined, reversed or disputed payment.

Any bank, currency-conversion or international card charges imposed by the customer’s provider are the customer’s responsibility.

06

Customer Cancellation and Rescheduling

Notice before activityGeneral treatment
24 hours or more Free cancellation or one rescheduling request, subject to the confirmed booking terms and vehicle availability.
Less than 24 hours Normally non-refundable and not eligible for free rescheduling.
No-show No refund or complimentary rescheduling.

A cancellation or rescheduling request is effective only after it is received and acknowledged by our booking team. Sending a message without receiving acknowledgement does not automatically cancel a booking.

Custom itineraries, large groups, exclusive vehicle reservations, third-party services and special promotional rates may have stricter conditions. Any different terms must be disclosed before payment.

Where a refund is approved, it is normally returned to the original payment method. Processing may take approximately 7–14 business days after approval, depending on banks and payment providers.

07

Late Arrival, Missed Pickup and No-Shows

Guests must arrive at the confirmed meeting point by the stated check-in time. The check-in time may be earlier than the driving-session start time to allow for registration, preparation and safety briefing.

Late arrival may result in:

  • a shortened activity;
  • a missed convoy or departure;
  • additional transfer or operational charges; or
  • cancellation without refund.

Missed pickups caused by an incorrect address, unreachable telephone, delayed guest or failure to be present at the confirmed location may be treated as a no-show.

08

Weather, Safety and Operational Changes

Desert activities depend on weather, visibility, terrain, vehicle condition, government directions and operational safety. We may change:

  • the route or driving area;
  • the departure time;
  • the convoy pace;
  • the vehicle, where a suitable alternative is available;
  • the order of included activities; or
  • the activity date when safe operation is not possible.

If we cancel the principal activity and cannot provide a reasonable alternative, the customer will generally be offered rescheduling, booking credit or a refund for the cancelled service.

Minor route, timing or itinerary adjustments made for safety or operational reasons do not normally entitle the customer to a refund.

09

Driver and Passenger Eligibility

Buggy drivers are generally required to be at least 16 years old. Passenger eligibility is generally from age three. Different rules may apply to quad bikes, dirt bikes and particular vehicle models.

Final participation approval may depend on:

  • age and height;
  • safe seating position;
  • harness and safety-equipment fit;
  • ability to understand instructions;
  • physical condition;
  • behaviour at check-in; and
  • the guide’s operational assessment.

A parent or legal guardian must approve participation by a minor and may be required to sign on the minor’s behalf.

We may refuse participation where eligibility or safe equipment fit cannot be confirmed. Contact the booking team before payment when travelling with young children.

10

Health and Medical Conditions

Off-road activities involve vibration, sudden movement, uneven terrain, heat, dust and physical exertion. They are not advised during pregnancy or for guests with significant:

  • back or neck conditions;
  • heart or cardiovascular conditions;
  • recent surgery or serious injury;
  • mobility limitations affecting safe participation;
  • seizure conditions; or
  • other conditions aggravated by off-road movement.

Guests are responsible for assessing their fitness to participate and should seek medical advice when uncertain. Relevant medical information must be disclosed before booking or participation.

We may refuse or stop participation when we reasonably believe continued involvement creates a material safety risk.

11

Safety Instructions and Prohibited Conduct

Every driver and passenger must:

  • attend the safety briefing;
  • wear the supplied safety equipment as instructed;
  • keep the vehicle harness securely fastened;
  • follow the guide and remain on the approved route;
  • maintain the instructed convoy distance;
  • operate the vehicle responsibly; and
  • stop immediately when directed.

Prohibited conduct includes:

  • drifting or intentional sliding;
  • racing or competitive driving;
  • zig-zag driving;
  • unsafe overtaking;
  • leaving the convoy or approved route;
  • using a telephone while driving;
  • driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
  • allowing an unauthorized person to drive; and
  • ignoring guide or safety instructions.

We may immediately stop a guest’s participation without refund when the guest’s conduct threatens safety, damages equipment or disrupts the activity.

12

Inherent Risks and Participant Responsibility

Dune-buggy, quad-bike and dirt-bike activities take place on natural off-road terrain and involve inherent risks that cannot be entirely eliminated.

These risks may include:

  • changing sand and terrain conditions;
  • vehicle movement, vibration or loss of control;
  • collisions, rollovers or falls;
  • heat, dust, reduced visibility and dehydration;
  • mechanical failure;
  • actions of other participants; and
  • delayed access to emergency services in remote areas.

By voluntarily participating, the guest acknowledges the nature of the activity and agrees to follow all reasonable instructions intended to reduce these risks.

Guests should consider obtaining suitable travel and adventure-activity insurance covering off-road activities, medical treatment, cancellation and personal belongings.

13

Vehicle Inspection, Damage and Recovery Costs

Guests should inspect the vehicle before departure and promptly report visible pre-existing damage or defects.

The customer may be responsible for reasonable and documented costs resulting from damage caused by:

  • reckless or prohibited driving;
  • intentional misconduct;
  • ignoring guide instructions;
  • leaving the approved route;
  • collision caused by customer misuse;
  • unauthorized drivers; or
  • continued use after a warning or mechanical issue.

Recoverable costs may include necessary repair, parts, towing or desert recovery and reasonable loss-of-use costs where legally permitted and properly supported.

Guests are not responsible for documented pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear or mechanical failure not caused by misuse.

Where a security authorization or damage deposit is required, the amount and release conditions must be disclosed before payment or participation.

14

Hotel Transfers and Transportation

Hotel pickup and drop-off are optional unless expressly included in the confirmed package. Transfer prices may depend on:

  • pickup location;
  • number of guests;
  • shared or private transport;
  • vehicle requirements; and
  • date and availability.

Pickup times are approximate and may change because of traffic, other guest pickups, road closures or operational conditions. Guests must provide an accurate location and reachable telephone number.

Child-seat availability must be requested in advance and is subject to confirmation.

15

Personal Property

Guests are responsible for telephones, cameras, jewellery, cash, documents and other belongings brought to the desert, activity site or transfer vehicle.

Items should be secured against sand, vibration, impact and loss. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss or damage to unsecured personal property unless caused by our proven negligence.

Any recovered lost property may be retained temporarily. Delivery, courier and return costs are the customer’s responsibility.

16

Photography and Promotional Media

Guides or staff may take photographs or videos during an activity. Personal images should not be used for advertising without the appropriate permission.

Guests who do not wish to appear in promotional media should inform the guide and booking team before the activity begins.

Permission to use an image can be withdrawn for future use by contacting us, although withdrawal may not apply to material already lawfully published or distributed.

17

Third-Party Operators and Services

Certain transport, payment, activity or hospitality services may be provided by independent licensed third parties.

Where applicable, third-party terms may also apply. We will take reasonable steps to communicate material booking conditions before payment.

We are not responsible for unrelated services purchased directly from another provider without our involvement.

18

Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable UAE law, including liability for fraud or other liability that the law requires us to retain.

Subject to applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss of enjoyment, missed flights, missed appointments or expenses caused by matters outside our reasonable control.

Customers must promptly notify us of a problem so that we have a reasonable opportunity to investigate and, where possible, correct it.

Any limitation will be applied only to the extent permitted by applicable consumer-protection and civil law.

19

Website Information and Intellectual Property

We aim to keep prices, vehicle information, images and descriptions accurate. Website content may nevertheless contain errors or become outdated.

A website price or image does not override the final written booking confirmation. We may correct genuine errors before a booking is confirmed.

Website text, graphics, layout, photographs and branding may be protected by copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights. They may not be copied or commercially used without permission.

Users must not attempt to damage the website, introduce malicious code, obtain unauthorized access or use website content for fraudulent purposes.

20

Privacy, Communications and Cookies

We may process contact details, booking information, payment confirmation, participant information and communications to provide requested services and manage bookings.

Website analytics and cookies may also be used as described in our Privacy Policy.

By providing a telephone number, WhatsApp account or email address, you authorize us to send communications reasonably required to manage your enquiry or booking.

Marketing messages should be sent only where legally permitted, and recipients may request that such messages stop.

Read the Privacy Policy
21

Complaints, Governing Law and Disputes

Complaints should be submitted promptly with the booking reference, participant name, activity date and supporting information.

We will attempt to review and resolve complaints fairly. Customers should give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate before initiating a payment dispute or legal claim.

These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai. Subject to any mandatory consumer rights or alternative forum required by law, disputes may be submitted to the competent courts of Dubai.

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
